Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!! I hope you all had a wonderful week with friends & family. I took time away from social media this Holiday Season to fully enjoy the magic of Christmas time though my Boy’s eyes, with Matthew being 2.5 and it being Jacob’s first Christmas I did not want to miss a second.

I have tones of exciting things going on with the blog this year, we have a giveaway with Smile Brilliant to start your new off with a Bright White Smile, we have also partnered with another great brand! Stay in touch for more on that Via Instagram @themagnoliamom and Facebook /themagnoliamom

Here are some pictures of our family of 4!

My New Years Resolutions are very simple this year.

1. Live in the Now  – I feel like life has been going 100MPH and I just want to enjoy each minute of everyday with my boys.

2. Take care of Me – This one is hard for me, I am always taking care of others before myself always my kids and my Husband of course, but others like Family and Friends always seem too come before me too and this year I will be taking a little more time too get my hair done, go for a relaxing day at the spa even waking up early to get dressed up even on the days I have no where to go! 😉

3. Be the Best Mom I Can Be! Motherhood is Tough, I just want to be the best Mom I Can Be!

I hope you all had a blessed Holiday Season and have a Happy New Year !!

Indoor Toddler Activites Melissa & Doug Toys

With just two weeks until my due date we have been spending as much time outside playing and running though the hose as possible around here, sometimes just getting outside for an hour makes all the difference when you have a toddler!

After baby boy makes his appearance I already know getting outside will be much harder and less likely as the weather cools down. I have been on the hunt for indoor toddler activities that promote learning and of course keep Matthew entertained for longer than 5 minutes.

Searching high and low I came across things like (Tub of Beans)  (Beach in a Bucket) even (Pudding Painting) OK I don’t know if it’s just me or what but NO THANK YOU! I do not want my kid eating 100 raw beans and then waiting to see what happens, or cleaning up beach sand for the next 500 years in every corner of my house and pudding painting I think I would just die!!To say the least I kept searching, My mom got Matthew a set of wooden blocks for Christmas last year from Melissa & Doug that were so adorable, right up his ally with the animals and the tractors. He played with them for quit a long time for him only being a year and half old then, I pulled them back out recently and let him set them all up how he liked he played for an hour ! A whole hour ! Since he like them so much I hopped on there site to see what else we could stock up on !

Christmas 2015

Another year, another wonderful Christmas. And we are so sad that it’s over!
Our festivities started early Christmas Eve morning, with a day full of picking up loved ones from the airport wrapping presents & baking with mom. Matthew was having all sorts of fun with his Uncles and Grandpa outside since it was so warm! of course there was no naps on Christmas Eve or Christmas day but it was over looked with all the wonderful memories being made. We also attended the Austin Trail of Lights in Zilker Park this year for the first time, we had a great time! 2015 was such an amazing year for us and we are looking forward to 2016 being so much fun as we will start featuring some of our favorite small businesses and Etsy shops #shopsmall !

I hope you all had an amazing holiday weekend, filled with lots of love & happiness.
