My Birthday is the end of August and my Husband surprised me with a trip to Cuba via Cruise the best way to travel if you ask me 🙂 we hopped aboard he NCL Sky a ship we have been on multiple times before.
The next morning we woke up in beautiful Havana! I must say I’ve been anxious to go since the cruise line opened the opportunity up from Miami but didn’t know what to expect since much of everything we’ve herd over the years had been negative.
If you can tell by the smiles, it was none of those things ! Havana is a staple out of history, you step out of the port and feel as if you’ve entered a history book or something, it’s a feeling like no other ! The cars and sounds of old horns was like music. Of course there was music and dancing! The people of Havana are some of nicest most welcoming people I’ve ever met.
We took a car tour around Havana and seen the historic sites !
I definitely recommend taking the tour by car, our driver Jorge was so nice and took his time explaining everything to us.
We felt 110% safe in Cuba since that is he number one question I get, of course like any traveling situation you have to use your common sense but as far as feeling in safe in Cuba, Yes our experiences was great!
I highly recommend, taking the Cuba cruise though NCL as we have always had a great experience with them! The service never disappoints.
